Andrew is the COO (Chief Operating Officer) of Mudpie, previously he was the CFO and has moved into this role recently. Now Andrew runs the business on a day to day basis, though Fiona, the CEO, is the Creative Director, leading all the creative staff. He jointly owns the majority of the shares in Mudpie with Fiona.

Andrew began his career at accountants Tenon where he qualified as a chartered accountant. His experience there was working with small and medium sized businesses and helping them with their accounting, taxation and business issues.

Once qualified, Andrew moved to international firm PricewaterhouseCoopers where he gained experience of working with larger multinational companies. This experience included working for some time in taxation advice which helped develop his legal insight, which now helps considerably in dealing with the many Intellectual Property issues that a design based firm like Mudpie faces. This experience at PwC enables Andrew to deal with the many complex international issues that Mudpie encounters on a daily basis, as well as giving invaluable insights into how a large company can, and should, be run well.

After four years with PwC Andrew had a desire to return to dealing with smaller companies and to gain experience of running his own business, so became a partner in a small accountancy firm, a role he occupied until he decided to move to Mudpie and help Fiona to strengthen and develop the company into the highly regarded international fashion information business it is today.

"Mudpie is a fantastic business to be involved with. It has doubled in size every three years for the last decade, and the challenges involved in building the systems and infrastructure to support this have made my role a constantly changing one. The addition of Mpdclick has taken the business forward in a fascinating new direction, and I have enjoyed managing the IT side of this, as well as for the wider business. Our team of employees, freelancers, researchers and other contributors is approaching 100 and managing these is a challenge."

Andrew is married to Fiona and they live in the south of England with their two daughters.
