Ben Harris was recently granted share options in Mudpie, having joined Mudpie as a Designer in 2000. He progressed through the company ranks to become a Director in 2004 and his most recent appointment to Sales Director reinforces Ben'
s key role in the future success of the business. Ben graduated with honours from a degree in Fashion Promotion and Communication and worked as a freelancer before being headhunted by Fiona Jenvey to join the design team at Mudpie. Ben worked primarily on the graphics and trend services of the company, as well as managing key client accounts such as Primark and Marks & Spencer before progressing to senior, managerial and then director level. As Creative Director, Ben concentrated on new business and product development - now as Sales Director, Ben' s focus is not only on direct selling and client relations, but also developing, supporting and training agents to better sell our products. Ben liaises closely with a number of key agents to support and promote the distribution network, ensuring that Mudpie meet the changing needs of the client. As well, Ben has developed good relationships with Higher Education Institutions, working with them on student projects and offering seminars. Ben still remains involved in the creative process both on consultancy projects and the product side of the business, and directed the recent company rebrand. Ben also travels extensively to represent the company internationally ensuring that the Mudpie Brand is seen as the global industry leader in fashion trend information. His role is now, more than ever, outward facing, as the company expands into new market territories. Ben lives on the South Coast of England with his partner and young son. |
