istanbul host mudpie trend seminar

Last week, Ben Harris, Sales Director of Mudpie Ltd, took the Mudpie autumn/winter 2010-2011 trend forecast presentation to the Turkish market.

Hosted by the iTKiB, the Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporter Associations, in conjunction with Ahu Barut of Neva Tekstil, the seminar attracted more than 175 attendees representing a large volume of the Istanbul fashion industry from both large and small businesses.

Under simultaneous translation, Ben Harris delivered a two and a half hour trend presentation focusing on Mudpie’s three main trend directions for the AW1011 season, taking inspiration from their leading range of trendbooks and their increasingly popular online trend forecasting service, www.mpdclick.com.

The presentation, entitled ‘Blurred Vision’ delivers clear, concise and commercial trend analysis for the women’s, men’s and kidswear markets and includes background and trend research information, inspiring colour palettes, product ideas, street and runway imagery plus a graphic and textile focus.

The reaction to the presentation was fantastic, and Ben was able to meet a large number of the attendees after the presentation and discuss in detail Mudpie’s AW1011 vision.

Following the trend seminar, Harris delivered a thorough, live web demonstration of Mpdclick to a captive audience of close to one hundred of the attendees.
