  Online Data Entry Intern - 3 month work experience placement Location: Romsey, Hampshire Start Date: ASAP Required: CV (Must be a UK resident) Contact: catherine.cetnik@mudpie.co.uk Mudpie, an established international fashion trend forecasting company, is looking for an intern to assist their busy online trend forecasting service (MPDClick) within their large UK design studio based in Romsey, Hampshire. This is a great opportunity for a student or graduate to gain some experience of working in a busy and challenging environment, whilst being given the opportunity to develop their skills in a variety of industry lead tasks. The successful applicant will need to have an interest in fashion or a fashion related degree, a good knowledge of fashion and garment terminology and strong IT skills. Applicants need to be hard-working, enthusiastic and possess great attention to detail. Applicants must also have the ability to self-manage as there will be an opportunity to work remotely part-time. Throughout the placement the successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work alongside our Editorial team to gain knowledge of the inner workings of the website. Towards the end of the placement they will also be invited to work within the design and sales/marketing teams, to learn how our trend information transcends to other areas of the company. Mudpie’s online fashion intelligence resource, mpdclick.com, is looking for motivated trend researchers to complete street and retail reports for us in the following locations Amsterdam, Barcelona, Basel, Berlin, Brussels, Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Chicago, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Madrid, Melbourne, Milan, Moscow, New York, Portugal, Reykjavik, San Francisco, Sao Paulo, Stockholm and Tokyo. The successful person will live in these cities or travel regularly to them on an independent basis, have good fashion knowledge, a good standard of English and a strong interest in youth and children’s trends and culture. Local knowledge of important retailers in these cities is essential. This position will involve taking photos of garments in city centre stores and of what people are wearing on the street. The position is freelance and would fit around another job as the work is very flexible.
